Leah has been dancing since the age of 3.
In 1990, she came to Tap 'n Arts as a tap student. In 1992, she was a member of the original competition tap team who won a silver medal for the original debut of Jump in New York City.
During her time at Tap 'n Arts, Leah participated in various competitions and took instruction from a variety of Master Teachers. She was also an Assistant for many years, before attending college at Penn State University (PSU) to become a teacher.
As felt by many students, once a student always a student at Tap 'n Arts. So in 2005, Leah returned - not as a student - but as a Pre-School Director and Instructor.
Besides her work with the Tap 'n Arts Dance Studio, Leah is also the Director of the East Shore YMCA Child Care.

On January 12, 1992, the original competition tap team who won a silver medal for the original debut of Jump in New York City. Two of the students include our very own Instructors, Leah Booker and Lauren Brinjac.
