Convention Cost: Between $55 – $300 per person

Excel in Motion is a dance convention that brings you the most talented artists currently working in the industry in hopes of encouraging and inspiring young dancers! You can find Excel's faculty anywhere from dancing on the Oscars, backing up the world's biggest pop stars, choreographing for television and film, performing on, or choreographing for Broadway, and winning the hearts of America on "So You Think You Can Dance."

Excel in Motion helps students grow as people, performers, and dancers. Their hope is to give an educational dance experience, where everyone walks away from the weekend feeling energized, and inspired by new movements. Each one of their dedicated faculty brings their own teaching philosophy and flare - a combination of talent and energy that has a little something for everyone. Dance styles include jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, tap, animation, and hip hop.

Convention Cost

Observer Band: $55 per person
Allows parents, and siblings (5 years & up), into any ballroom to watch their child, or sibling, dance. You cannot dance in classes with an Observer Band.
Newbie Band (Includes one Observer Band): $195 per person
Beginner / Intermediate: 7 - 9 years
Students take 4 hours of master classes throughout the weekend and potentially perform in their closing ceremony. Includes one Observer Band for parents.
Student Band (Full Program): $300 per person
Intermediate: 10 - 12 years; Intermediate/Advanced: 13 - 15 years; Advanced/Professional: 16+ years
Allows students into the ballroom of the level they’re assigned for the entire convention. All of Excel's faculty teach each level, so students will get to take classes with all their stars.
